Rheology Instrumentation and Software Insights

The world of rheology is always developing in terms of the instrumentation used to characterize materials. In this presentation, we will discuss some fundamentals of rheological characterization, as well as some accessories that we have introduced recently that may provide more insights into the performance of materials. We will also discuss key features and recent developments with our Trios software program that can make rheological testing and data analysis more convenient.

Thermal Analysis Instrumentation and TRIOS Software

The thermal properties of new materials have become an indispensable measurement to nearly every analytical and production laboratory. This presentation will begin on the fundamentals of Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) for experimental optimization of different materials. We will demonstrate some new features within TRIOS, which is TA Instruments software platform for the Discovery instruments. This will include tips for expediting a common analysis and report generation, as well an overview of our newly released thermal AutoPilot and Kinetics Analysis Suite.

About Topgolf

Topgolf is a game that anyone can play (and win). Score points by hitting micro-chipped golf balls at giant dartboard-like targets on an outfield. The closer you get your ball to the center or ‘bullseye’ and the further the distance, the more points earned.

Covid Safety

It’s our goal to welcome you back to in-person events in a fun and safe manner.  All appropriate COVID-19 protocols will be closely followed, and the driving range is outside for excellent ventilation.  Masks and hand sanitizer stations will be available.
